December 16 - Breakfast with Santa and Senior Luncheon at the New Fairfield High School.  A great time was had by all!

December 12 - Christmas party at Abruzzi's Restaurant.  Lion Richard Smith is awarded the

November 29 - New Fairfield Lions Club 2007 scholarship application added.  Completed applications are due no later than March 23, 2007

November 15 - Dancing under the stars pictures and article added

August 29 - New officers for 2006/2007 announced

July 1 - Reminder that the Fourth of July parade is at 9:30AM in New Fairfield town center!

June 30 - Anthony Kerns Benefit for The Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation announced.   More details can be found here.

June 11 - Annual installation brunch at Ridgefield Country Club. Officers for 2006/2007 were inducted.

 

May 15 - Wayne Van Treuren has been named a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) in recognition of his commitment to serving the world community. Named for the founder of Lions Clubs International, Melvin Jones, the fellowship is the foundation’s highest honor. It is a recognition of commitment to humanitarian service.

Wayne is a member of the New Fairfield Lions Club, who bestowed this honor upon him at a ceremony on March 28th at Biscotti’s Restaurant. Wayne’s wife Stephanie attended the event. Wayne received a finely crafted plaque and lapel pin acknowledging his dedication to the foundation’s humanitarian goals. As a Melvin Jones Fellow, Wayne becomes a part of the growing network of individuals who are committed to improving the quality of life for people locally and in communities around the world.
