On January 22nd at Biscotti’s Restaurant, the New Fairfield Lions Club was proud to induct Philip Kraska as a new member into their Club. The NF Lions Club Secretary, Mike Gillotti, performed the induction ceremony. Phil resides in New Fairfield with his wife Alison. Phil is the owner Chatterton Marina on Candlewood Lake here in New Fairfield. Alison is a nurse. Phil was sponsored by New Fairfield Lion Joe Viola. The club also recognized long time member Gene Arcery with his 36 year attendance pin. Gene continues to be an integral part of the New Fairfield Lions Club. Gene has been honored with the following awards: Knight of the Blind, Melvin Jones and has been awarded lifetime member status. During his tenure as a New Fairfield Lion member, Gene worked on all events and committees. He played a huge part with public relations, working closely with our local Citizen News. The New Fairfield Lions thank Gene for all his past contributions to the club and look forward to many more years! Congratulations Gene!
